Types of Patents and Patent Applications

There are three types of patents: utility, design, and plant patents. Axenfeld Law offers services for utility and design patent applications.

a. Utility Patents: Cover the functional aspects of an invention.
b. Design Patents: Cover the ornamental features (appearance) of an invention.
c. Plant Patents: Cover a new variety of plant (not provided by Axenfeld Law).
